FireDos Firefighting Monitors
FireDos firefighting monitors are designed for water and foam firefighting, delivering thousands of litres per minute over distances exceeding 150 metres. Thanks to the flow-optimised Oval Flat Design, pressure loss is minimised, enabling maximum throw and range. All monitors are available with manually or electrically adjustable extinguishing agent flow rate — even during operation and at full pressure.

M1 – Compact Monitor for Stationary Protection and Fire Trucks
The M1 is one of the world’s smallest fire monitors with electric drives. Available in two sizes (up to 1,000 or 2,000 l/min), it is ideal for use in confined spaces — waste bunkers, recycling plants, automated storage systems and helicopter landing pads. The M1 can also be mounted as a front monitor on standard fire trucks. Equipped with 24V DC drives, it supports remote operation via the FireDos control system.
- Dimensions: 470 × 255 × 360 mm, approx. 12 kg
- Available nozzles: MPN or AMPN multi-purpose nozzle, optional flat jet nozzle
- On request: 24V CAN-BUS control for fire trucks or stationary fire protection
Typical Applications
FireDos monitors are used wherever extinguishing agents for fire class A and B are applied — both outdoors and indoors. Typical fields of application include:
Tank farms · Waste incineration plants · Recycling facilities · Jetties and ports · Aircraft hangars · Automated storage systems (ASRS) · Petrochemical plants
M2 – M4: Versatile Monitors for Fire Trucks and Industry
The M2, M3 and M4 monitors cover flow rates from 2,500 to 8,000 l/min and are widely used on airport rescue vehicles (ARFF), municipal fire trucks and industrial installations. All models are available with manual handwheel operation or 24V DC electric drives with radio remote control.
- M2: up to 2,500 l/min — ideal for fire trucks and smaller industrial sites
- M3: up to 4,500 l/min — used on large tank pumpers (TLF), suitable for AMPN nozzle with adjustable flow
- M4: up to 8,000 l/min — for demanding industrial applications and ARFF vehicles
M5 – M7: Heavy-Duty Industrial Monitors
Monitors from M5 onwards are designed primarily for stationary industrial fire protection and special-purpose firefighting vehicles. With flow rates from 12,000 to 24,000 l/min, they protect tank farms, petrochemical plants, ports and large warehouses.
- M5: up to 12,000 l/min — large industrial facilities, special vehicles
- M7: up to 24,000 l/min — tank farms, ports, throw range exceeding 100 m, 360° horizontal swivel
M9 – M12: High-Capacity Monitors for Major Hazard Sites
The largest FireDos monitors deliver extraordinary flow rates for the most demanding fire protection scenarios — oil terminals, LNG facilities and major industrial hazard sites.
- M9: up to 40,000 l/min — adjustable down to 10,000 l/min during full operation, used at Rotterdam port tank farms
- M12: up to 60,000 l/min — the most powerful FireDos monitor, for the largest hazard sites
All M9 and M12 monitors feature the AMPN nozzle for stepless flow adjustment during operation, and stepless switching between hollow jet and full spray jet.
