Engineering & design
Arcofire's engineering team designs complete fire protection systems from first principles - sprinkler, water mist, gas, foam, aerosol, kitchen and detection - rather than adapting a single fixed product line to every building. Every design is backed by full hydraulic calculations, coordinated in BIM with the rest of the project team, and documented to the relevant EN, NFPA and local standard for the system type and building use.
- Site survey, fire risk assessment and occupancy/hazard classification
- System concept and technology selection - sprinkler, water mist, gas, foam, aerosol, kitchen or detection
- Hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing and water supply/pump duty analysis
- BIM / Revit / AutoCAD coordination and clash detection with architects, M&E and structural teams
- Equipment and component selection - sprinklers, nozzles, valves, detectors, panels, pumps
- Technical specifications, drawings and design documentation to EN 12845, EN 12259, EN 54, ISO 14520, NFPA and equivalent standards
- Fire engineering consultation and value-engineering options for the client and design team
- Design review, insurer/authority liaison and approval prior to construction
