The GreenEx GreenSol A-100 is a self-contained condensed aerosol fire extinguishing generator for total flooding of enclosed spaces. Listed on the US EPA Halon Alternatives SNAP list as Powdered Aerosol I, it extinguishes Class A (solid fuels), Class B (liquid and gaseous fuels) and Class C (electrical equipment) fires by releasing a fine potassium-nitrate-based aerosol, generated in-situ inside a non-pressurised container.
The A-100 protects up to 0.64 m3 of enclosed volume (156 gr/m3 design application density, including the NFPA 2010 30% safety factor) and discharges within 14 sec. It can be installed vertically or horizontally and requires no piping.
Typical applications: CNC machines and engine compartments, electrical cabinets and wind turbine nacelles, generator and compressor rooms, flammable and combustible liquid and gas storage, maritime applications, paint rooms and battery storage, military use.
Not recommended for server rooms or data centres with sensitive electronic equipment, as the discharged aerosol leaves a fine residue on surfaces.
