Automatic fire suppression may be an afterthought for a small charging station, mobile generator or energy storage device - yet the equipment is expected to work at a moment's notice on a demanding schedule. Fires start small, and the key is stopping them at the earliest stage to limit damage and stop the spread to nearby structures, which could be occupied buildings, increasing the risk to life. Mobile power generators can also be used in many locations, so the fire risk extends wherever the generator unit is deployed.

APPLICATIONS AND RISK AREAS: • Generators - flammable fluids such as petrol drastically increase fire severity • Renewable / battery-storage assets - often left unattended with minimal protection • Battery enclosures - fire danger increases drastically • Charging stations - fire can spread to surrounding assets and even people

HOW THE REACTON SYSTEM WORKS: Reacton's UL-approved pneumatic detection tube bursts when fire is detected, activating the system. Dry powder and wet chemical agents are released through discharge hoses and nozzles to combat the fire rapidly and effectively, ensuring reignition is prevented. BC Dry Powder contains no ammonium phosphate and is ideally suited to Class B & C fires typical of generator and power equipment enclosures.

ADVANTAGES OF A REACTON SYSTEM: • Fully automatic - detects and activates without any external power source • Rapid detection and immediate agent delivery, typically in under 10 seconds • 24/7 protection with zero false alarms • Extremely low maintenance • 10-year service life, 3-year warranty on all parts • Compact and lightweight, simple to install • Suitable for both new-build (OEM) and retrofit installations

APPROVALS: • UL Listed - detection tube as a Heat-Automatic Fire Detector component (S36434) • P-Mark to SPCR 199 - fire suppression systems in engine compartments of heavy vehicles/generator sets
